[Review] Architecture 101 (2012) : A Bittersweet Recall

Seo-yeon mendatangi Seung-min, seorang arsitek untuk dibangunkan sebuah rumah di pulau. Awalnya Seung-min lupa akan teman lamanya yang juga cinta pertamanya itu. Akan tetapi, ia menyanggupi permintaan tersebut dan kenangan indah semasa kuliahpun kembali teringat. Film ini diceritakan dengan flashback yang diceritakan secara bergantian. Pada masa kini diperankan oleh Uhm Tae-woong dan Han Ga-in, sedangkan masa lalu diperankan oleh Lee Je-hoon dan Suzy, personil Miss A.

Seo-yeon comes to Seung-min, the architect and asks him to build her house in island. In the beginning, he does not realize his old friend who is also his first crush. He accepts that requests. The sweet memories are back for both of them. This movie has flashback that is told back-to-back with the "present" story. The "present" story casts are Uhm Tae-woong dan Han Ga-in. The "past" story casts are Lee Je-hoon and Suzy from Miss A.

[Review] The Thieves (2012) : Aliansi Pencuri Korea Selatan dengan Cina / An Alliance Between South Korea's Thieves and China's Thieves

Film ini berhasil menjadi film terlaris kedua sepanjang masa ini di Korea Selatan dan masih memiliki kemungkinan untuk bisa menggeser kedudukan The Host (2006). Tidak begitu berminat dengan genre action membuat film ini awalnya masuk ke daftar yang tidak terlalu penting ditonton. Akan tetapi, promosi Blitzmegaplex terhadap film ini sangatlah kuat, terutama mengandalkan "Film terlaris kedua sepanjang masa di KorSel" membuat saya cukup tertarik untuk menonton film ini. Film ini juga dibintangi banyak aktor-aktris yang sudah terkenal, seperti Kim Soo-Hyun, Angelica Lee, Kim Hae-Sook dan Jeon Ji-Hyun. Film juga menggunakan beberapa bahasa di dalam dialog yang cukup  banyak tersebut, antara lain bahasa Jepang, Mandarin dan Kanton. Film ini bercerita tentang Popeye dan geng pencurinya mendapat 'proyek' dari mantan rekan sekerjanya, Macao Park untuk mencuri berlian 'Air Mata Matahari' seharga 20 juta dollar. Macao Park juga mengajak geng Cina untuk saling membantu dalam mensukseskan pencurian tersebut.

This film is the second highest grossing movie ever in South Korea and it still has the possibility to pass the highest grossing movie : The Host (2006). I was not interested to watch this film since it is an action film, but Blitzmegaplex promotes it so well. They use this film's position as the second highest grossing as part of the promotions. That's why I'm interested to watch this film. This film uses some famous actors and actress as the main casts, such as Kim Soo-Hyun, Angelica Lee, Kim Hae-Sook and Jeon Ji-Hyun. This film uses Japanese, Mandarin and Cantonese in some dialogues. This film is about Popeye and his friends get a task from Macao Park, Popeye's ex workmate to steal a $ 20 million diamond 'Tear of Sun'. Macao Park also brings Chinese thieves to succeed the thievery.
