Ia bahkan pernah melakukan tiga hal tersebut ditambah menjadi aktor utama di dua buah film, yaitu Zoolander dan Tropic Thunder. Ia kembali ke kursi sutradara dan produser kali ini di film yang juga ia bintangi, yaitu The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. Film ini merupakan adaptasi dari cerita pendek yang berjudul sama dan juga pernah difilmkan pada tahun 1947.

Hal tersebut juga terjadi kepada Banjong Pisanthanakun, sutradara Shutter, Alone, 4Bia dan Phobia 2. Film terbarunya yang menjadi film terlaris sepanjang masa di Thailand, Pee Mak menggunakan formula yang sama dengan film pendek Banjong sebelumnya, yaitu In the End di Phobia 2. Kali ini film Thailand kembali hadir di tanah air dengan salah satu film horor terbaru di Thailand, yaitu  Project Hashima.
