Disclaimer: I did not make a note for this recap. So it will only highlight things that I remember and my opinion.
The girls are *finally* in Thailand, after 4 seasons shooting in Singapore. They meet Monika from Season 3, Shikin and Tu from Season 5 who will be their alumni mentor.
Their first challenge, as always, is the runway challenge in Chatucak Market but with a twist. They have to take a selfie in the end of runway with Huawei P20 Pro. We did not get see the girls' runway that much, but they praised Beauty and Jesslyn. Another standout but in a wrong way is Sharnie who slips. Most of the girls are not so memorable.
Cindy meets the girls backstage and she announces that she will eliminate two girls based on the runway challenge. She makes a list which is based on their score which will be shown later on. Beauty, Jesslyn and Mia are Top 3, while Vy, Han and Sharnie are Bottom 3. Lena realizes that her name is not there and then Hody confirms she is not in as well after checking double times. Poor them. Their elimination is even worse than Maya. The girls at least know Maya because they showed her name in score board and she made it into the house, whereas we don't get to see Lena and Hody. They should just have made Top 12 for the promotion though.
The girls go to the model house. They claim their room. Han asks Rubini to switch room as they prefer to be in their new room. It seems the girls are divided to sweet and young room vs loud room.
Cindy reveals the challenge score. Beauty comes on top with 9.7, while Sharnie is in the bottom of the pack with ... 8.1. The scores are so random. I don't think the score makes sense. I don't think Sharnie deserves that high. They should have just got rid of the challenge score if they want suspense.
The girls are handpicked by Cindy to work with their alumni mentor.
Monika: Dana, Iko, Jesslyn, Rubini
Shikin: Jachin, Mia, Sharnie, Vy
Tu: Adela, Beauty, Han, Pim
I like how Tu is being straightforward for what she thinks about her girls and gives useful advices. I feel at this point the episode is just too fast and feels so rushed.
The photoshoot is Wild Things. The girls have to showcase the jewelry with a wild animal from crocodile to iguana to snake. Han immediately cries. Tu really impresses me as a mentor. She tries to make Han calm.
Most of the girls struggles to work with the wild animals. The highlight of the photoshoot is when Yu Tsai asks Sharnie to scream, yell and growl, but she does not do it. Then, Yu Tsai stops her shoot.
Judging panel for this week is Cindy Bishop, Yu Tsai and Celina Jade as a guest judge. Beauty, Mia and Han get praises from the judges, while Jesslyn, Pim and Sharnie get the most critiques.
Beauty receives first call out, while Jesslyn and Sharnie land in bottom two. Jesslyn disappoints the judges with her photos even though she has 13 years of experience, while Sharnie shows her fear in her photo and basically does not scream when Yu Tsai asks her too. Sharnie gets eliminated as she gets the lowest score.

I feel the episode is a bit disappointing. I don't get to see the girls' runway walk. I feel the episode is way too rushed. The scoring system still does not make sense as always. Beauty with the highest score is only 3.9 different with Sharnie who gets the lowest score and most critiques. It's not that the competition is so fierce and tight, so the elimination is gonna be hard. Having two girls eliminated outside panel and one girl eliminated during panel in one episode is way too much. The future photoshoots look promising though.
