[Recap] Asia's Next Top Model Season 4 (2016) Episode 3: You will be transformed from ordinary to extraordinary."

The girls do not expect Tugs to leave and Jessica is still in the running. Jessica who is in the room with her only friend, Sang In still can hear the girls' talking. Cindy Mail! "Cut the ribbon, open the box, and open your minds." Patricia opens the box and there are several hair cut to try. Sang In cannot wait for the makeover, while Mai Ngo is worried to get a short hair because she thinks that her boyfriend will leave her.

The girls arrive at Jean Yip Hub and they meet Kenneth Goh, Lourd Ramos, and creative director of Jean Yip, Mervin Wee. Lourd promises them to be transformed from ordinary to extraordinary.

The girls do not have mirror in front of them. So, they will not know what is going to happen. Mai Ngo has a breakdown. She does not want to get short hair because her father used to say she is ugly with short hair. Kenneth tries to convince her that it will make her look editorial and high fashion. Other girls, like Tawan and Aldilla, cry when her hair cut short. Angie also cries a bit when she is about to have half side shaved. However, most of the girls are quite happy with her final result. May gets a fringe which is the last thing she wants. May also does not understand how fringe will make her more mature because she still feels as 5 years old.

The girls are back home and they immediately check their new look in front of mirror. Aldilla, Tawan, and Tuti make groupies of short hair gals. Tuti as Kenneth of the group, Aldilla as Lourd, and Tawan as Kenneth and Lourd combined.

Cindy Mail! "You have the look, you have the style, now to make it work, go the extra mile." The girls guess about running a mile or a sporty photoshoot.

The girls meet Kenneth, Mervin, Lourd, and Kelly at a studio. This week photoshoot is compcard and the photographer is Joel Lim. They have to work 2 looks and choose 4 photos. They have to do all of that in just 20 mins.

Some of the girls, Alaiza, Julian, and Angie do hair flipping. Kelly tells Tawan to shave her armpit because her armpit hair is noticeable. Tawan says that she already shaves it in shower, but she might do it in rush. Most of the girls have a good time management, except for Mai Ngo. Mai Ngo spends too much time in her first look, even worse her first look is not working.

Sang In sleeps on the couch. Kelly asks her to go to hospital, but she worries that she will be eliminated if she does not do the photoshoot. In the end, she agrees to go to hospital. Jessica worries about her only best friend, Sang In. The girls discuss the possibility if Sang In does not come back because her turn is last and it is her turn now. Sang In is back just in time. The doctor tells her to rest at home, but she wants to do the photoshoot.

The girls, especially Jessica are happy that Sang In makes it. Sang In impresses Kelly and she even asks to do B&W photoshoot. Kelly think that Sang In is Harper's Bazaar material.

Who will stay? Will it be Mai Ngo who gets more high fashion look, but loses her confident and her performance falls flat? Will it be Gwen who tries hard not to be beauty queen, but she still gives beauty queen?
