Seo-yeon mendatangi Seung-min, seorang arsitek untuk dibangunkan sebuah rumah di pulau. Awalnya Seung-min lupa akan teman lamanya yang juga cinta pertamanya itu. Akan tetapi, ia menyanggupi permintaan tersebut dan kenangan indah semasa kuliahpun kembali teringat. Film ini diceritakan dengan flashback yang diceritakan secara bergantian. Pada masa kini diperankan oleh Uhm Tae-woong dan Han Ga-in, sedangkan masa lalu diperankan oleh Lee Je-hoon dan Suzy, personil Miss A.
Seo-yeon comes to Seung-min, the architect and asks him to build her house in island. In the beginning, he does not realize his old friend who is also his first crush. He accepts that requests. The sweet memories are back for both of them. This movie has flashback that is told back-to-back with the "present" story. The "present" story casts are Uhm Tae-woong dan Han Ga-in. The "past" story casts are Lee Je-hoon and Suzy from Miss A.
Durasi film ini dua jam dengan alur yang lambat, film ini sangat berpotensi untuk menjadi film yang membosankan. Ya dalam durasi dua jam ini, film tersebut membahas dengan cukup lengkap, walaupun ada beberapa bagian di mana bisa dipersingkat atau bahkan dilewatkan karena tidak begitu penting. Cerita masa lalu cukup mendominasi film ini dikarenakan cerita tentang masa lalu lah yang membuat jalan cerita film ini menjadi signifikan, memberi petunjuk maupun menjawab pertanyaan-pertanyaan yang ada di masa sekarang. Dialog-dialognya tidak klise dan pintar. Penonton mendapatkan informasi-informasi penting melalui dialog yang disampaikan secara tersirat. Ada beberapa bagian yang sudah sering kita lihat di film-film drama romantis yang cukup klise, tetapi ada juga hal-hal kecil yang menyentuh hati penonton. Film ini juga sukses dalam menghibur secara visual. Rumah yang dibangun tersebut sangat menarik, apalagi yang letaknya strategis, di pinggir laut. Film ini berhaisl menyuguhkan dua pemandangan indah tersebut dalam 1 shot.
This is a two-hour long movie with a slow storyline. It is quite boring. In that two hours, this movie tells the story in detail, even though there are some parts that can be cut or skipped because it is not that important. The "past" part dominates the story because it moves the story in this movie and also the "present" part. The "past" part also gives clues and answers questions from the "present" part. The dialogs are not cliche and quite smart. The audience gets informations from the conversation explicitly. There are some parts that are "very drama romantic movie", but there are some little things that can touch audience feeling. This movie successfully gives a beautiful scenery, especially Seo-yeon's house which is located near sea. The beautiful scenery comes from both the house and the view from the house.
Secara keseluruhan, film ini cukup mirip dengan kisah 21/28 di Seven Something. Kedua film ini sama-sama menceritakan pertemuan kedua orang yang sudah lama tidak bertemu dan menceritakan kisah mereka di masa lalu dan sekarang. Film ini memang memiliki momen menyedihkan yang dapat menyentuh hati penonton, tetapi menurut saya 21/28 berhasil 'menyayat-nyayat' hati penonton. So, 21/28 saja berhasil menggugahkan hati penonton dalam 30 menit saja, kenapa harus berlama-lama untuk mendapat momen itu ? :p
Overall, this movie is quite similar with 21/28 from Seven Something. Both of the movies are telling a story about a meeting of two people who have not met for a long time and telling their "past" and "present" story. This movie has a some moments that are touching, but in my opinion 21/28 succesfully gives more touching moments. So, 21/28 can do it in 30 minutes, why it need to take this long to touch the audience ? :p
